PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has now publicly confirmed a forthcoming partnership with BLACKPINK, despite teasing earlier this week. PUBG Corporation ‘s hit online multiplayer battle royale game shows the team-up moving to its smartphone app through its social media pages. While not much has been announced about the relationship, it is expected that Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa will be remembered as separate playable avatars. Teasers also point at a BLACKPINK-hemed airdrop crate, a pink car and the lightstick — synonymous with BLACKPINK’s die-hard supporters, BLINKS — being a handy tool by means of a “light hammer.”

Most recently, the powerhouse YG Entertainment K-pop girl group broke YouTube’s record for the biggest music video premiere and released “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez which reached 13th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 list. As the K-pop stars prepare to make their in-game debut, PUBG Mobile rival Call of Duty: Warzone is expected to hit phones in the near future. – Adapted from Blackpink – Adapted from Hypebeast
