12 Jul OMEGA launches gents collection in the Constellation series
Swiss luxury watchmaker OMEGA is growing with an all-new Gents range on the Constellation series, featuring a larger case size and refined design.
Measuring at a more robust size of 41 mm, the new timepieces come in either stainless steel, 18 K gold or a two-tone combination of both, immaculately paired with ceramic bezels carrying Roman numerals made of either OMEGA Ceragold or Liquid Metal.
Although much of the iconic style characteristics of the Constellation have been preserved, such as the claw-like indices and half-moon facets at both ends of the display, a number of groundbreaking improvements have also been introduced by the company. For a sleeker feel, the case edges are now bevelled, mirrored in the slimmer hour-and-minute hands and indexes influenced by the Manhattan skyline.
Most of the Gents Collection models will come complete with leather straps that carry an anti-bacterial rubber lining, secured to the watches through a single metallic decorative link on the case’s either end. For those who prefer a more metallic look, the Constellation 39 mm collection will also allow you to swap in any bracelet. Ultimately, the OMEGA Master Co-Axial Calibre 8900/8901 lies conveniently under a sapphire caseback to control the timepieces themselves.
The new OMEGA Constellation 41 mm Gents collection will start at $5,850 USD for the steel bezel and case version, $6,500 USD for the steel case ceramic bezel variant, and $20,400 USD for the 18 K gold models for those interested. – Adapted from Hypebeast
