NASA has just released their first fragrance – “Eau de Space”

If you’ve ever wondered what smells like in space, look no further. Steve Pearce, the Omega Ingredients creator / chemist, has just published “Eau de Space.”

The fragrance uses Pearce’s experience of out-of-this-world scents, which he honed in 2008 while collaborating with NASA to mimic the Mir Space Station ‘s smell. The fragrance was used for training purposes to simulate a space-like environment and many astronauts have identified the smell similar to “ozone, hot metal, and fried steak” with “raspberries and rum” hints. – Adapted from Hypebeast
